Our coaching programme provides structured sessions for children from the FUNdamental stage–
(basic movement literacy) up to swimmers who have reached national standard.
Once involved in one of our competitive “squad swimming programmes” they will
embraces the principles of the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) - principles that provide
a clear ‘swimmer pathway’ to enable children and young people to progress to their full swimming potential.
LTAD is a sport’s development framework that is based on human growth and development.
|
As with all our squads, swimmers will follow the principles of LTAD in line with their age and ability.
During this stage swimmers will develop the skills and conditioning in line with their current ability to
compete at county through to national level.
