Explained Selection Levels Early Development (Green) Development (Blue) Junior (Red) Main (Black) Movement Structure Email How To Find Us Membership Enquires     Junior Squad (Red) Our coaching programme provides structured sessions for children from the FUNdamental stage– (basic movement literacy) up to swimmers who have reached national standard. Once involved in one of our competitive “squad swimming programmes” they will embraces the principles of the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) - principles that provide a clear ‘swimmer pathway’ to enable children and young people to progress to their full swimming potential. LTAD is a sport’s development framework that is based on human growth and development. Aims & Criteria Amount of time and training sessions available. Age Range. General Competition aims Progression Further development in line with LTAD principles, stroke technique and skills, competition preparation, and development for a full range of competitive events.During this stage young swimmers will learn how to train and develop the skills to compete. 5.25hrs (excluding mornings) 5 sessions + 2 morning sessions by invitation only 9 years – 12 years Regional County Open meets at level 2-3-4 Team galas Club Championships Time trials Main Squad (Black) Those wishing to move into the Black squad must have achieved the following:      1. Have the correct level of skill to maintain and most importantly improve under the increased          workloads at the next level.      2. A minimum attendance of four sessions per week.      3. In addition all members of this squad are expected to participate in regular open competitions          (in events which are highlighted by the squad coach) and team galas when they are selected.  Movement will be at the discretion of the Red & Black squad coaches.   Swimmers who move in to the Black squad but do not maintain the standard required maybe asked to return to the Red squad Sessions Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Alsager 7.00-8.00 pm 6.30-8.15 am 7.30-8.30 pm 6.30-8.15 am 8.15-9.00 pm 9.00-10.00 am 5.00-6.00 pm Sandbach Boys School 8.00-9.00 pm 5.30-7.00 pm   Early Morning Sessions are by invitation only. Please Speak to the Head Coach if you would like to attend. This doesn;t effect anybody currently attending. Sponors Bridgestone Tyres Notice's The Club Championships are now a licensed Level 4 Meet, there are no longer 25m events for 9 Year olds and all age groups are single age groups, the way point's and medals are awarded have also changed please see Conditions for these change's.
