Training Alterations
Due to the junior swim camp on
Sunday 19th Feb evening swimming will be 5-6pm for blue group only.
The following sessions have been cancelled due to gala commitments
Sunday 5th Feb 5-7pm
Sunday 4th March 5-7pm
Sunday 18th March 5-7pm
Sunday morning sessions on these dates will be as follow's:
8-9am Blue Group
9-10am Red Group
Green Group sessions will carry on as normal.

To help fund raising we have signed up to easyfundraising, this allows the club to generate much need fund's by members
searching the web via there search engine, or using the site for online shopping.
All you need to do to is sign up as a member of easyfundraising and every time you purchase from their website,
the club will get a donation from easyfundraising.

during training session. For those willing to commit the club can assist with acquiring coaching qualifications.

Our coaching programme provides structured sessions for children from the FUNdamental stage–
(basic movement literacy) up to swimmers who have reached national standard.
Once involved in one of our competitive “squad swimming programmes” they will
embraces the principles of the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) - principles that provide
a clear ‘swimmer pathway’ to enable children and young people to progress to their full swimming potential.
LTAD is a sport’s development framework that is based on human growth and development.

Further development in line with LTAD
principles, stroke technique and skills, competition preparation, and
development for a full range of competitive events.During this stage young swimmers will
learn how to train and develop the skills to compete.

Upper Junior Competitive Squad (Upper Red)
|
Those wishing to move into the Upper Junior Competitive Squad (Upper Red) must have achieved the following:
1. Have the correct level of skill to maintain and most importantly improve under the increased
workloads at the next level.
2. 2. A minimum attendance of 65% of sessions per month
3. In addition all members of this squad are expected to participate in regular open competitions
(in events which are highlighted by the squad coach) and team galas when they are selected.
Movement into the upper Red squad will be at the discretion of the Red squad coach.
